Rubber products

Viet Nam is the third largest rubber exporters globally. In 2015, total rubber cultivation area expanded over 981,000 hectares with over 1 million tons of output, accounting for 8.7% of world production, ranking  second in the world in terms of productivity (after India) and third in the world yield (after Thailand and Indonesia). The country was expected to earn 1.2 million tons of rubber in 2016. Viet Nam earned US$ 1.66 billion from exporting natural rubber abroad. In addition, the country also exported US$ 1.5 billion of rubber products like tires and rubber spare parts and US$ 1.2 billion of rubber wood in 2016. In 2016, the trade mark of Viet Nam Rubber was recognized for the first time.
